City Commission meetings are held in the commission chambers, which are located on the second floor of City Hall and there are numerous public meeting rooms on the first floor.

Departments include the city manager's office, mayor and City Commission, city clerk, city attorney, community development, cultural services, development services, economic development, finance, human resources, permits and licensing, planning and zoning, purchasing, redevelopment, support services, and utility billing.
City Hall is located near downtown Daytona Beach, on the southeast corner of Ridgewood (US 1) and Orange avenues. Parking is available in the lot on the south side and on the rear facing Palmetto Avenue.
