Spring is prime snake season in Florida. Learn about these slithery visitors on Wednesday, February 27, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The free presentation will be at Breakers Oceanfront Park Environment Learning Center, 13 S. Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach.

Become part of this Easter weekend tradition

The 52nd annual Easter Beach Run is Saturday, April 20. The race begins on the hard-packed sands near the Bandshell adjacent to the Ocean Walk Shoppes at 250 N. Atlantic Ave. (A1A). The signature 4-mile race starts at 2 p.m.
