Welcome to our new and improved website.

The city’s website has been overhauled to include a fresh new look, easier navigation, greater citizen interaction and upgraded features.

“The new site further promotes our commitment to provide a more transparent and responsive government. This website was completely re-engineered from a citizen’s point of view. The easier navigation makes accessing city services and requesting information much simpler. We welcome any feedback, because like any other website, it’s a work in progress,” said City Manager Jim Chisholm.

The new website, which replaces the former site launched in 2006, was designed in-house, using existing personnel in the city manager’s office and the information technology department.

New features include the following:

• “I Want To” menu which allows an easier way to find the most frequently requested services
• Simplified listing of archived public meeting agendas, minutes and videos
• Live beach camera situated in Breakers Oceanfront Park
• Current weather conditions and daily tide updates on the homepage
• Beach information
• Online survey to evaluate user experiences
• “One click and submit” form to request city services, report problems or submit comments
• Online public records request form, code enforcement violation form, board application
• Enhanced visitor information
• Sign-ups for automatic e-notification of city commission agendas, CRA agendas, e-newsletter and emergency notification
• Maps for city facilities
• Expanded staff directory and search feature
