The accident occurred when the unknown white vehicle failed to stop for a red light and continued travelling over the median and into collided with the passenger side of the second vehicle crossing the intersection. The unknown vehicle stopped momentarily and then left the scene of the accident. The driver and passenger of the second vehicle suffered minor injuries. The suspect in the video is one of 2 black male suspects who asked for a ride and then pulled a gun on the victim demanding the vehicle. After driving for several blocks, the vehicle possibly stopped in the area of Frederick and Sheridan. After being placed in the trunk of the vehicle, the victim escaped from the moving vehicle.The victim’s vehicle is a white 2008 Chevy Impala with dark tint, bearing VA tag KFZ7079.
Suspect 1 was a black male, age late 20's, dark complexion, short hair, gold teeth wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
Suspect 2 was a black male, age mid to late 20's, light complexion, gray beanie & gray hoodie, possible dreads and mutton chop sideburns and moustache.

The suspect in the Daytona Beach video was caught on video in Walmart using stolen credit cards reported missing by victims during the races in Daytona Beach. The same suspect was arrested March 8, 2012 in Gainesville, Florida (see 2nd video of incident in Gainesville) while attempting to enter Recreation Vehicles and steal more credit cards.
