Recycling Rewards Program
In an effort to promote and reward choices that lead to a more sustainable future, the city is announcing a new incentive program to encourage residential recyclers. Not only is it the right thing to do because active recycling keeps waste out of the landfill, now you can get paid for recycling. Talk about a win-win situation. It is hoped that this new program will encourage existing recyclers to continue their efforts and non-recyclers to get started.

Beginning in June 2015, $50 cash will be awarded to 30 households that recycle. There is nothing for recyclers to do except put their filled recycling bins curbside on their designated days.
