Emergency Contact Information

ICE Your Cell Phone

Cell PhoneAs technology has changed the way we communicate as a society, fewer people are carrying wallets with “in case of emergency cards” in them.  No longer can you look into a wallet and find contact information for someone on an emergency scene, as we have all placed that information in our cell phones.

Seeing this problem, Paramedic Bob Brotchie, created the idea off adding the entry “ICE” -- In Case of Emergency -- with the phone number of who you would like to contact in an emergency.  While many people have "Mom" and "Dad" listed in their mobile phones, they're not always the people to contact in case of an emergency.

Entering an ICE#1, ICE#2, etc., would give emergency workers more numbers to try in the event one contact was not available or if a number was changed or disconnected.

Take the necessary steps to ensure that you and your loved ones could be contact in the event an emergency would occur.  It’s as easy as I C E !
