A zoning verification letter is a legally recognized document which informs property owners, lenders and prospective buyers of the current zoning designation related to a particular property based on the municipality's current zoning codes.

Requesting a zoning verification letter

Letters can requested online, by mail or in person. Payment must accompany request, and credit cards can be used for payment when utilizing the online option.

  •  Permitted uses based on the current zoning

Information NOT included in a zoning verification letter:

  • Compliance with development regulations
  • Parking requirements
  • Certify legal non-conforming status
