To begin this permitting process all facilities must complete a City of Daytona Beach FOG Discharge Permit Application.
Facilities with traps, interceptors or other grease separation devices larger than 50 gallons in volume are required to have their separation device pumped by a third-party waste hauler and must follow by commercial pumping instructions outlined here.
Permitted facilities in good standing with traps or other grease separation devices smaller than 50 gallons in volume alternatively may qualify for the Self-Cleaning Initiative outlined below.
