Recreation Centers

The City of Daytona Beach offers five community centers with dozens of amenities and hosts community events such as Senior Oasis, writing workshops, youth camps and more. 

John H. Dickerson Community Center (308 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.)
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday

Julia T. and Charles W. Cherry, Sr. & Cultural Educational Center (925 George W. Engram Blvd.)
5:45 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday 

Schenbly Recreation Center (1101 N. Atlantic Ave.)
8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday

Sunnyland Recreation Center (825 Washington St.)
Open for rentals only

Yvonne Scarlett-Golden Cultural & Educational Center (1000 Vine St.)
6 to 8 p.m. Tueday through Friday

Community centers are open for rentals only Saturdays and Sundays.
