The city's baseball practices are still in full swing at Bethune Point Park at 11 Bellevue Ave. Kids ages 6-12 are invited to join the fun from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday every week. Participants will learn hitting, catching, throwing, fielding and base running from coaches and instructors. This year's baseball practices and season are sponsored by the Daytona Tortugas and Tortugas Care Foundation.

The clinics are free; however, participating youth should register at www.codb.us/activities. For more information, call (386) 671-3483 or email bethunecharles@codb.us.
