Corrected utility bills to be sent to customers

Web_Utility Bill Error

A printing error by the city’s utility bill vendor caused about 800 water customers to receive a utility bill with the wrong agency identified. Instead of using the correct City of Daytona Beach paper template, customers received a statement from the “Seacoast Utility Authority.” The calculations and the amounts due are correct. Corrected bills will be mailed to impacted customers with the message,  “The City of Daytona Beach has been notified of a formatting issue that may have changed the look of your most recent statement. The error is limited to the look of the bill only; all calculations and amounts due are correct. If you received a statement that looked unusual, please destroy it and pay the enclosed bill. If you received a regular looking bill, please pay as normal and disregard this notice. We apologize for this inconvenience. If you have any questions please call us at 386-671-8100.”
